单标记双光过程中π0π0产生及f0(980)和f2(1270)形状因子的测量

Measurements of π0π0 production and form factors for f0(980) and f2(1270) in single-tag two-photon process

  • 摘要: 报告了单标记双光子过程中π0对产生微分截面的测量.该测量基于KEKB不对称能量正负电子对撞机上运行的Belle探测器获取的759 fb-1数据.该截面测量中,Q2高达30 GeV2, Q2是负的标记虚光子不变质量平方;双光子不变质量W和π介子散射角|cos θ*| 分别在05<W<21 GeV和|cos θ*|<10范围内,首次测量了f0(980)和f2(1270)螺旋度为0,1,2的形状因子.并将所得测量结果与理论预期进行了比较.

     

    Abstract: A measurement is reported of differential cross section of π0 pair production in single-tag two-photon collisions. These results are obtained with 759 fb-1 of the data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+e- collider. The cross section is measured for Q2 up to 30 GeV2, where Q2 is the negative of the invariant mass squared of the tagged virtual photon, in the kinematic range 05<W<21 GeV and |cos θ*|<10 for the total energy and pion scattering angle, respectively. The transition form factor of the f0(980) and that of the f2(1270) with the helicity-0, -1, and -2 components separately are measured for the first time and are compared with theoretical calculations.
